Nice to see you here!
I am currently a PhD candidate at Indiana University, Bloomington, USA. Before coming to IU, I was trained as a professional journalist in Fudan University, China. While that program provided me first-hand experience and international perspectives on the Chinese media industry, I wanted to understand how the human brain “processes” mediated information (well, actually we don’t really PROCESS information, even though we always say that!).
In general, I am interested in over-time changes of physiology, emotional experiences, and behavior with respect to video viewing and game playing. I am particularly interested in dynamics of physiological and behavioral synchrony as a function of different types of interactions (mediated and non-mediated). I am also interested in nonlinear dynamic analysis and modeling.
